LBAPS is seeking a Clinical Director for the Authorizations Department to oversee clinical and administrative operations related to service authorizations. The ideal candidate will be a BCBA or have strong knowledge and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the authorizations process for clinical services.
- Review documentation to ensure medical necessity and compliance with payer requirements.
- Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to streamline workflows.
- Provide clinical oversight and ensure accuracy in ABA-related documentation.
- Develop and refine policies and procedures for the department.
Qualifications:
- BCBA certification or strong background in ABA required.
- Minimum 1 yeas of experience in behavioral health, insurance authorizations, or clinical operations prefered.
- Strong understanding of ABA service models and insurance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
