Position Summary:
As a Credentialing Specialist at LBAPS, you will play a critical role in ensuring our growing clinical and administrative teams remain compliant with all credentialing standards. You’ll manage a high volume of provider credentials across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely onboarding and ongoing compliance in accordance with payer, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer end-to-end credentialing and recredentialing processes for clinical and support staff nationwide.
  • Verify and monitor licenses, certifications, education, and background checks to ensure full compliance with regulatory and payer standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive, accurate credentialing records in our internal databases and credentialing software.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams—including HR, Compliance, Clinical Operations, and Billing—to ensure seamless onboarding and credential upkeep.
  • Conduct regular audits of credentialing files and proactively address gaps or expirations.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to internal stakeholders on credentialing timelines, procedures, and compliance updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline perffered.
  • Strong knowledge of credentialing standards, payer requirements, and healthcare regulatory compliance is a plus.
  • Proficiency in credentialing management systems and EHR platforms is an added bonus but not required .
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume processes efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working across departments in a fast-paced environment.
