Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management & Collections

Transform Lives. Empower Families. Build the Future of Behavioral Health.

At LBAPS, we’re on a mission to revolutionize access to ABA therapy and behavioral health services nationwide. Every process we improve, every system we build, and every dollar we optimize helps another child receive life-changing therapy — at no cost to families.

We’re looking for a visionary financial leader to architect and scale the systems that power this mission. This is more than a leadership role — it’s an opportunity to build the financial infrastructure that supports 25,000+ children and families, and to scale that impact tenfold.

The Opportunity

As Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management & Financial Operations, you will shape LBAPS’s financial future. Reporting directly to the CEO and senior leadership, you’ll join our executive leadership team to design and lead scalable revenue cycle systems supporting exponential growth — from 50 to 500 new families per month and beyond.

You’ll build teams, implement systems, and drive innovation that transforms how we deliver care at scale while ensuring financial sustainability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scale Operations: Design and implement revenue cycle processes that support 10x growth without compromising quality or compliance.
  • Optimize Billing & Collections: Lead efforts to eliminate prepayment review backlogs, streamline claims, and strengthen payer relationships.
  • Support Multi-State Expansion: Build systems for contract and credentialing management across 25+ states, ensuring accurate billing and compliance.
  • Integrate Technology: Oversee implementation and optimization of key platforms (Tebra, Hoopla, ERP systems) to drive efficiency.
  • Build and Develop Leadership: Recruit and mentor Directors in Credentialing, Medical Records, Stakeholder Relations, and other critical areas.
  • Ensure Compliance: Establish audit-ready processes and a culture of financial integrity across all operations.
  • Deliver Financial Insights: Create real-time dashboards and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

Who You Are

  • 2–8+ years of healthcare finance experience, including 2+ years in revenue cycle management and 2+ years in senior leadership.
  • Proven record of scaling healthcare operations, ideally within behavioral health, ABA therapy, or related fields.
  • Expertise in prepayment review management, multi-state credentialing, and payer contracting.
  • Deep understanding of CPT coding, medical necessity documentation, and Medicaid programs.
  • Proficient in ERP and healthcare billing platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Tebra, CentralReach, Hoopla).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • A purpose-driven leader who thrives in high-growth, mission-centered environments.

Why Join LBAPS

  • Purpose with Impact: Your financial leadership directly expands access to therapy for thousands of children each year.
  • Innovation at Scale: Build systems from the ground up using automation, analytics, and AI.
  • Mission-Driven Growth: Be part of a national movement transforming the future of behavioral health.
  • Leadership Legacy: Define and lead the financial engine of a fast-growing, high-impact organization.
