Credentialing Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the credentialing process for all agency staff and providers, including initial applications and ongoing renewals
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to credentialing and licensing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff and provider credentials and licenses
  • Communicate with staff and providers regarding their credentialing status and any necessary updates or renewals
  • Collaborate to develop and implement policies and procedures related to credentialing and licensing

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare credentialing or a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to credentialing and licensing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and providers.
